About Alan Collmer

Alan Collmer is a Andrew J. and Grace B. Nichols Professor in the Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology Section of School of Integrative Plant Science at Cornell University. The primary research focus of his lab is the functional genomics of virulence in the plant pathogenic bacterium Pseudomonas syringae.

Collmer recieved is Bachelor of Arts from Antioch College and Ph.D. from Cornell Unviersity.
